This package provides a complete replacement engine harness designed specifically for the TB48, paired with a MaxxECU SPORT and ECU mounting bracket to replace the factory ECU.
The system is designed to retain factory cluster operation and OEM functionality, while providing a clean, completely plug-and-play installation into your GU Patrol.
MaxxECU SPORT – Entry Level Package
The SPORT is our entry-level MaxxECU package and is an excellent option for both naturally aspirated and boosted TB48 setups.
The loom retains support for the factory sensors; however, due to the available inputs and outputs of the SPORT ECU, Knock Control and Purge Control Solenoid functionality are not supported with this package.

Converting your TB48 Patrol to a ZF 8HP transmission has never been easier. Our complete replacement engine and transmission harness has been designed to make the conversion as close to plug and play as possible, with only one wire required to be pinned into the vehicle.
The package retains factory OEM cluster operation and vehicle functionality, while integrating the TB48 engine, MaxxECU, ZF 8HP transmission, Drive-By-Wire throttle and BMW shifter into one purpose-built harness.

Full Knock Sensor Support
PRO LEVEL provides full knock sensor integration, allowing the MaxxECU TRACK Gen2 to monitor engine knock and utilise knock control strategies.
This provides an additional level of engine protection, particularly important for high-compression, boosted and high-powered TB48 combinations.
PWM Electric Fan Control
The PRO LEVEL harness supports PWM-controlled electric thermo fans, allowing the MaxxECU to control fan speed progressively rather than relying solely on traditional ON/OFF fan control.
This provides greater control over engine temperature and is ideal for upgraded cooling systems and high-performance electric fan setups.
Electric Power Steering Control
PRO LEVEL also includes provision for electric power steering control and integration.
The required wiring is incorporated directly into the harness, providing a much cleaner solution for Patrols being converted to electric power steering.
