Designed as a direct replacement for the OEM oil pump gears, these billet 4340 steel gears are engineered for performance and reliability. The outer gear measures approximately 77mm in diameter and 15mm in thickness.
The factory sintered gears—made from compressed powdered metal—are known to fail, even with mild engine modifications. They were never intended to withstand high horsepower or high RPM conditions.
HSE gears are precision-machined from high-strength 4340 billet steel and feature the N1-spec 'wave' profile for increased oil flow. Each set undergoes isotropic polishing for a smooth, low-friction finish, ensuring consistent performance under extreme conditions.

Ross Racing Pistons:
All ROSS Racing Pistons (since 1985) have been forged from 2618 billet bar stock and have been heat treated and aged to a T61 condition (2618-T61). 2618-T61 is the material that is used when fatigue resistance and durability are of prime importance by all premium racing piston manufacturers.
This material has less than 1% silicon particulate content. High silicon content pistons (forged from 4032 or MS75) will not stand up to the most extreme stress placed on many racing pistons. If a crack starts to form in a high silicon piston it will continue until the piston experiences a catastrophic failure. Simply stated, adding sand to the aluminum only makes it more brittle. In the rare instance of a 2618-T61 piston cracking, the crack will continue to an area where the stress is not as great and will then stop. Another advantage of 2618-T61 over the high silicon pistons is the ability to keep its shape under extreme pressure and high RPM's. "Skirt Shrinking" is not a problem with ROSS Racing Pistons.

Full billet 4340 Nitrided and Balanced Crankshaft
With the increased cubic capacity from the 108mm stroker crank, big increases in torque and low to mid range power are achievable. Boost will come on earlier in the rev range and peak power will increase.
Note: Some cylinder block clearancing is required for installation
The TB48 is widely being discovered as a platform to produce significant power. For this reason, we developed a 5.2L stroker kit for the TB48 combination.
The kit consists of our Nitto/CP pistons 100mm/+0.020" bore size. These pistons are cut from low silicon content 2618 material. In addition, the pistons are complete with Nitto custom specifications, PVD rings, 9310 gudgeon pins, accumulator grooves and friction reduction grooves.
The connecting rods are our robust I-beam design. Made from double melted forged billet 4340, this connecting rod features a stout I-beam design that has proven time and again to be capable of holding considerably high power. These connecting rods come with 7/16 ARP 2000 rod bolts as standard, with the option to upgrade to Custom Age 625+.
Completing the kit is the 4340 billet crankshaft in 108mm stroke. This crankshaft has been purposely designed with strength and high power applications in mind. The crankshafts are an immaculate piece with precision manufactured knife edging to reduce weight and cut through crank case oil mist with ease. This enables the crankshaft to rev freely and easily.
